Welcome to Broadmarsh Tweed, a small family concern situated on low lying salt marshland.

Having kept rare breed sheep including Zwartbles, Manx Loaghtan and Jacobs, for many years, I became frustrated by shearing my sheep only to burn the fleeces due to the low price and lack of market. I was determined to turn this situation around and so decided to create our own tweed. The farm had always been a haven for black sheep and so our wool ranged from white (Jacob) through to black (Hebridean). Our Heritage range of headwear is naturally coloured, there is no dye used and the colours reflect the actual colour of the breeds used.
